Butterfly SPA Cottage is the most luxurious of the 4 family cottages and being a pole cottage it is raised above the rainforest floor. Nestled amongst the rainforest trees and on the edge of the resorts natural untouched rainforest it has views from the kitchen and lounge windows of pandanus trees and the creek. The view from the raised verandah is of both the pool and lush Mission Beach rainforest and it has its own private paved area adjacent to the forest at ground level.

Sunbird Cottage is a 2 bedroom family cottage and is set beneath 3 magnificent rainforest trees and overlooks the freeform pool area. This cottage has a delightful balcony area that flows onto a paved patio, complete with garden bench and is totally surrounded by gardens, allowing children to play safely. With your own private BBQ you can feel free to eat in your own time and not have to wait your turn.

Kookaburra Cottage, another of the 2 bedroom Mission Beach family cottages looks out to the rainforest with the pool in the foreground and rests next to a large beech tree with a row of palms along its other side. With an enjoyable balcony that looks out to the pool and a private paved patio that runs from it, this cottage is both a peaceful and relaxed holiday destination. BBQ on the balcony or go out and eat at one of Mission Beach’s many restaurants, the choice is yours.

Gecko Cottage is the closest family cottage to the pool and like Sunbird is ideal for small children. It has its own private balcony with a view to the pool and also a paved patio area. Gecko cottage is a serene cottage in terracotta and green and is nestled under a magnificent rainforest tree with a border of palms on each side of the cottage. It has views to the fabulous rainforest and of course the pool area.

Lorikeet Bungalow is a delightful adults only retreat and has a single king size bedroom. Bright and colourful and the shades of the lorikeet this fabulous new bungalow is adjacent to Possum bungalow and yet set apart from the family cottages on the rainforest side of the pool and is everything that luxurious getaways are all about for those romantic couples' moments.

Possum Bungalow is adjacent to Lorikeet and contains a single bedroom with king size bed. In seductive shades of burgundy and charcoal for those with a more subdued eye and again an adults only retreat, this cottage is both peaceful and relaxing and looks out from the bedroom and spa bath to the rainforest.

All the accommodation here at Cassawong Cottages is fully self contained and has a full kitchen. Each of these wonderful Mission Beach cottages is individual and has a different colour theme.
