Your fully equipped kitchen will allow you to save money on take-a ways and have the convenience of home cooking.
Sunbird cottage has 2 reverse cycle air-conditioned bedrooms, the master having a queen size bed and in the 2nd bedroom 2 king singles. The master bedroom also contains a 2 seater cane lounge to sit quietly if you wish and read.
Washing machine and dryer are provided in your cottage and a personal clothesline is attached to the outside of your cottage to dry in the ambient sunshine.
Television, DVD, video and stereo are provided in the lounge area with a wonderful 2 ½ seater snugly lounge to while away the restful hours along with 2 delightful cane chairs.
Kitchen Facilities:
Sunbird cottage has a well equipped kitchen with everything that a holiday maker could want. Remember each cottage also has its own personal BBQ on the verandah as well. Sunbird also has a magnificent granite benchtop in the kitchen, an improvement we re-instated when the new kitchen went in after cyclone Larry.
From full family size refrigerator, stove, electric fry pan, sandwich maker, toaster, kettle, microwave, pots, pans, frying pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware, plastic ware for children and pool use, tea plunger and coffee plunger.
You also have a small amount of complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk for an arrival cuppa, ice and cold water are also supplied in the fridge.
Mozzie coils and fly spray and supplied for those that find the Australian natives a bit pesky although all the cottages are fully screened.
Really all you need to bring to Cassawong Cottages here at Mission Beach is your clothes, food and your beach towels.
